How is WhatsApp making money?

Well, the answer is quite easy: by getting the yearly payment from all their users. As you all know, after the trial period ends, the users will need to pay 0.99 dollars per year to keep using the WhatsApp application. The application currently has over 800 million active users, which that could mean that the company can make around 800 million dollars per year, if all the users decide to pay for it after the trial period ends.

The application doesn’t have any other sources of income, because it doesn’t allow companies to display ads inside it. We’re pretty sure that the developers will keep the application as it is, and they will not add any ads.

Tech Radar believes that the 16GB variant will cost $425 and the 32GB variant will be $50 dollars more expensive.

Moto G 2015

Flipkart leaked the model number AP3560AD1K8 with white color, and Christian Today believes it’s the Moto G 2015, which will come very soon. Until now, the rumors indicated a possible release in June, but most likely, it will arrive next month. It is said that it will have a 5inches/5.2inches screen, it will be powered by a 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 610 processor backed by 2GB of RAM, it will have an internal memory of 8GB, which obviously it will support expansion, and will support 4G LTE connectivity. One of the telecommunication companies of Japan, SoftBank is investing many of its shares in the developers of the combat strategy game, Clash of Clans.

The way this game is tearing the charts to avail the number one position in the gaming list, SoftBank is all set to inflate its shares of ownership in Supercell.

The Announcement

SoftBank announced in the first week of June 2015 that it has expanded its shares to a direct 73.2% in Supercell. The sole reason of Clash of Clans being the most downloaded and extremely likable game amongst its players, the Japanese company has made this increment in the shares. The complete deal was not disclosed, except the share rates during the announcement. However, the company owners made it clear that there are no more external shareholders of Supercell anymore. The rest of the 26.8% of shares is divided amongst the employees and the management.

The Earlier Investment

SoftBank had already invested in Clash of Clans two decades back. The game that launched in the year 2012 had gained so much popularity among the game players that its shares sore to a tremendous height. At that time, it had taken over no less than 50.5% of the entire shares that were released in the market. These shares cost one and a half billion dollars to the company. However, as the company had understood that Supercell could make easy money through Clash of Clans, it was a worthy investment. The game is simple enough to understand and play. Microsoft just released a new mid-range Lumia model for the Indian market, which costs around 190 dollars, being available though Flipkart. But those who aren’t fans of the Windows Phone platform will ignore Lumia 640’s specifications and will look for an Android device just to be able to run applications created for this operating system. Moto G 2014 is an affordable Android handset with similar specs, but we have another recommendation for you: Xiaomi’s Redmi 2, which has a newer chipset compared to the other two phones. While the Moto G 2015 costs 205 dollars, the Redmi 2 is almost 100 dollars cheaper.

Displays, dimensions and designs

The Lumia 640 runs on Microsoft Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Denim and has fewer available applications.

Cameras

All three devices have their rear cameras supporting a resolution of 8MP and have mutual features such as LED flash and autofocus, but the Lumia 640 and the Redmi 2 have 1/4-inch sensor size and f/2.2 aperture. But, the Lumia 640 loses the battle with its front camera of 1MP with f/2.4 apertures, because its rivals support double its resolution.

A promo video for Project Fi also throws a little light on the new Nexus phone as clearly the Nexus 6 cannot work with Project Fi right now. Also, a 3GB RAM and a Kirin processor is expected to be in-built with the device.

First of all, you will need to make a backup of your iOS device to iCloud. To do this, you will use iTunes and after that, restore the data from the backup. Downgrading your iPad or iPhone from iOS 9 BETA to iOS 8.3

First of all, turn off the „Find my iPhone” feature that’s found on Settings->iCloud->Find my iPhone. You will also need to put your device in DFU mode (Device Firmware Upgrade mode) by plugging your device into a computer, turning it off by holding the Power button.

After that, you will need to hold the Power button for 3 seconds and, after that, hold the Home button for another 10 seconds (in this time, you will still have to hold the Power button). After these 10 seconds expire, you will need to release the Power button, but continue holding the Home button until you will see a pop-up on your computer saying that your device is in recovery mode.

Click „OK” and then select „Restore iPhone” or „Restore iPad” button. Now a new pop-up will appear, where you will need to click on the „Restore and Update” button to continue. You will be informed that you are about to install iOS 8.3 on your device and after selecting „Agree”, iTunes will start downloading the iOS 8.3 software and install it on your mobile device.

When the installation is complete, you will see a “Hello” screen and you will need to follow the instructions to setup your device and restore the data from iTunes. After restoring the data on your mobile device, you’re done. You now have iOS 8.3 installed on your iPad or iPhone.
